Embracing my passion
Time to follow what makes me happy
In my early 60’s, I decided it was time to follow my curiosity about the natural world. Becoming a Docent Naturalist at Eaton Canyon was the first step, followed by taking the course work necessary at Pasadena City College to become a Certified California Naturalist.
I have confirmed that I am generalist at heart and when something peaks my interest, I find myself working on an article for the Eaton Canyon Paw Prints newsletter. This allows me to share my excitement and research.
Presently, I am working on the Eaton Canyon Project on iNaturalist, helping to ensure good identifications on all observations in the Canyon.
My camera is often right along side my curiosity when I go exploring. Photography allows me to capture what every I encounter, where ever I see it.
